Your tour begins at Marienplatz, where you’ll learn how Munich’s city center was transformed under Nazi rule, from propaganda displays to major announcements such as the call for the November Pogrom. Near the former meeting place of the Thule Society, you’ll uncover the ideological roots that shaped early National Socialism. At Odeonsplatz and the Feldherrnhalle, your guide explains the failed 1923 Beer Hall Putsch, while Viscardigasse highlights quiet acts of local resistance. You’ll also hear about the White Rose student movement near the nearby university.

The route leads past memorial sites such as the Square of the Victims of National Socialism and the former Gestapo headquarters, before entering the former Nazi Party Quarter, including the Führerbau, where the 1938 Munich Agreement was signed, and Königsplatz, once a stage for mass rallies.
